Capital Stage is the first professional theatre
company to form in Sacramento in over a decade.
We ensure the finest talent by employing members
of Actors Equity Association. We select plays
that celebrate the distinctiveness of live storytelling
presented in an up-close environment. Our mission
is to enhance the cultural landscape of our community
by offering critically acclaimed and award winning
works, contemporary and classic, that engage the
mind and soul. Sacramento residents who previously
had to travel to the Bay Area, or even New York,
can now experience the kind of dynamic live theatre
that excites them, right here in our capitol city.
